CHRIS Tarrant left Good Morning Britain viewers in shock today with a wild conspiracy theory about the coronavirus pandemic.

The former Who Wants To Be a Millionaire host, 73, was appearing on the show via a live link when he said the virus couldn't have been started at a market in China.

Chris said: "I find it very hard to accept that one man in China eating a bat has caused this world scale of chaos. "I find it very hard to believe.

I can't understand that at all." Experts believe the virus transferred from animals to humans at a wet market in Wuhan, China.
