Oscars 2022 incident which saw him get slapped by Will Smith. Chris appeared in Boston on Wednesday (March 30) where he was performing two stand-up shows.

He addressed the situation with him telling the audience that he is still "processing" what happened, says CNN. An emotional Chris said with tears in his eyes as he appeared on the stage: "Let me be all misty and s***."In his first public appearance he was greeted by the audience with back-to-back standing ovations, lasting several minutes.Chris asked the audience: "How was your weekend?", to which they chuckled.He added: "I don't have a bunch of s*** to say about [the incident], so if you came here for that ...

It'll be funny but right now I'm going to tell some jokes."It comes after Oscar winner Will stormed the stage at the ceremony on Sunday night (March 27) and smacked Chris, who had made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, who has alopecia.Chris joked about Jada's buzzcut, quipping: "Jada, can't wait for GI Jane 2."Will - who went on to win Best Actor later in the evening - walked up to the stage and slapped the presenter, before returning to his seat and yelling: "Keep my wife's name out of your f****** mouth."The Academy said that Will was asked to leave the ceremony after the altercation but he "refused." They also have since condemned his behaviour and recognised that they "could have handled the situation differently".Chris is currently on his Ego Death Tour which is touring around America.
