Chief Keef and Mike WiLL Made-It share “Status” music video

In August, Chicago drill pioneer Chief Keef and superproducer Mike WiLL Made-It announced a collaborative project with a single called "Bang Bang." It didn't take many listens before I was quite excited for the full-length, and while we may not have a release date yet, today there's a new single called "Status." It might be even better than "Bang Bang:" Sosa taps a lucid flow to string together bars of cheekiness and violence, over a beat that whines like a John Carpenter score.

It's great. The music video, seen above, is your standard depiction of gangster life – kidnapping, murder, ski masks – but it's still solidly shot.
