Chelsea’s No.1 Kepa Arrizabalaga is set for a recall to the starting XI after Edouard Mendy picked up an injury on international duty.
The Spaniard, who cost the Blues £71.6m to sign from Athletic Bilbao, has not played since letting two goals in against Liverpool last month.
While he has taken a step back at Stamford Bridge, the 26-year-old got his confidence back after holding Portugal to a 0-0 draw on international duty.And the Spaniard’s week has got better as he is now set for a return to the starting XI.
Mendy, who was signed from Rennes this summer as a Kepa alternative, picked up a thigh injury in training with Senegal on Wednesday.
