National hero Captain Tom, who became a household name when he raised more than £30 million for the NHS, has been criticised over a family trip to Barbados in December - despite the trip being totally legal.
Capt Tom's daughter, Hannah Ingram-Moore, yesterday shared that her father is being treated at Bedford Hospital after testing positive for coronavirus.
Some have voiced criticism of Capt Tom - even though his trip is understood to have not broken any lockdown rules in place at the time - and a group of big names have joined forces to defend the hero as he continues to fight the bug.
