Beverley Turner has fired back after Piers Morgan blasted her for refusing to clap for Captain Sir Tom Moore. The war veteran, who raised millions for the NHS during the coronavirus pandemic, tragically died this week at the age of 100 after contracting Covid-19.
Similar to the weekly claps held for the NHS during the first lockdown, one was organised for Captain Tom this week, to allow the nation to pay their respects.
But when TV presenter Beverley said she wouldn't be taking part, she was branded "pathetic" by Good Morning Britain host Piers, who proceeded to block her on Twitter.
