Captain Sir Tom Moore wanted a low-key funeral, his family have revealed.The World War Two veteran and fundraiser, who died aged 100 on Tuesday, hated the thought of a fuss being made.More than 230,000 people have signed a petition for him to have a state funeral.But grandson Tom Teixeira said: “I don’t think grandad would want a grand funeral."He’d like a small, intimate service with just the family. ‘March in, march out,’ he’d say. ‘Pay your respects, then move on, get on with your lives’.”Tom also paid tribute to his grandad’s spirit and said he believed when he died he would see his wife Pamela, who passed away in 2006.He said: “He wasn’t just a war hero and a fundraising machine.
