Captioning the screenshot, Carol penned: "Touched a nerve???" The blocking occured after Carol hit out at Piers on Twitter as he shared his thoughts on the nation's attitude to the continuing coronavirus pandemic.
Piers had tweeted on Friday night: "To everyone on here deluding themselves that Covid is ‘over’, take a look at Spain’s case & death rate in the past week.
Then wake the f**k up. This pandemic has barely started." However, Piers' strong stance regarding the coronavirus pandemic did not sit well with Carol.
