Piers Morgan responded to a sick death hoax with a Twitter firestorm on Friday. The presenter, 55, reassured his fans he was as healthy as ever with a scathing tweet directed at the pranksters spreading the malicious gossip.

Good Morning Britain's star launched a foul mouthed tirade on the "little d***heads" reaching out to his celeb pals for a fake obituary.

Piers claimed the pranksters had planned to get a tape contribution for the fake obituary from his famous friends. Naturally, he was absolutely seething about it.
