Cardi B owned up to two misdemeanour charges after a serious altercation at a strip club back in 2008. The rapper, real name Belcalis Almánzar, pleaded guilty after her involvement with two sisters bartending at the club in Queens, N.Y.

READ MORE Woman busted selling fake disabled parking badges for £175 after forging signatures Cardi pleaded to assault in the third degree and reckless endangerment in the second degree, according to a spokesperson for the Queens district attorney’s office.She was sentenced to 15 days of community service, a three-year full order of protection for the two victims and has to pay court fees.In a statement she said that in the past, she had made bad decisions that she was not afraid to own up to.The incident occurred after the rapper accused the sisters of sleeping with her husband Offset, TMZ reported.This triggered a fight with the singer eventually turning herself to the police later on.“These moments don’t define me, and they are not reflective of who I am now,” she said in the statement.“Part of growing up and maturing is being accountable for your actions.”Ten other charges that were a part of a 12-count indictment against the singer which were later dismissed, a representative said.Cardi B also previously rejected a plea deal which would have offered her reduced charges and no jail time for the charges stemming from two fights at Angels Gentleman’s Club in Queens.In another brawl, the singer and two others were accused of assaulting a bartender by throwing a drink, glass bottles and other objects, according to the district attorney.
