Hundreds of people were evacuated from a holiday park after a landslide sent several caravans crashing down a hill. Thunder storms and torrential rain caused the mobile homes to slide down a hill, sparking a huge emergency service presence.
The landslide happened at Pettycur Bay in Fife, Scotland last night. Shocking snaps showed caravans had crashed into one another as they slipped down the slope of the holiday park, Daily Star reports.
Glen McGill was one of the hundreds who was evacuated from his holiday home during the incident. He said: “We had hours and hours of the most horrendous lighting and heavy rain from at least 8pm to 3am. Were you one of those evacuated?
