Ayrshire countryside have made a final attempt to have the proposals thrown out after eight years.The group is appealing for 'common sense to prevail' in its long-running battle to prevent houses from being built on their back doorsteps.Since the plans were first unveiled eight years ago, residents in the Tarholm cluster of homes, near Annbank, have waged a long-running campaign against the proposals.The proposals, submitted by Stairhill Architecture Ltd, relate to a planning application to build two houses on land just off the B744 between Glenview and Eastburn Cottage, south east of Tarholm Bridge.Previous applications over the years were granted, but permission had 'lapsed' – prompting a fresh application.The Ayrshire Live app is.
