Cambuslang Harriers had several athletes taking part in events in Scotland, Spain and France throughout November and there were plenty of strong results to show for their efforts.The Scottish Short Course Championships returned to the now-disused Lanark Racecourse, which staged the first Scottish Cross Country Championships in 1886.Those taking part were in the presence of Olympians Laura Muir, Andrew Butchart and Jake Wightman, with distances set at 2km for under-15 runners, 3k for under-17s and 4k for the senior athletes.Under-15s Olivia McNicol and Lucy McGrandle finished 32nd and 62nd out of 100 finishers.Sam McCarthy in 26th place led home Chris Black and Lewis Cook to secure eighth team position from 14 complete teams.In the under-17
