In the lyrics, 23-year-old Hana brands Brooklyn “mean” and suggests he promised they would stay pals after their break-up – but went back on his word.
In one line, she sings: “You broke my heart and said let’s be friends but I never heard from you again and that’s kind of mean.” In another she says: “I saw us as meant to be and you saw me as temporary and that’s kind of rough.” Hana goes on to sing: “I’m confused and I’m sad, I don’t know what I did but you said it.
