Inverness city centre. Police and ambulance crews raced to the scene and a 43-year-old woman and three men, aged 32, 38 and 42, were taken to Raigmore Hospital.
The three men sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries.Images from the scene show extensive damage to the building - at the junction of Grant Street and Lochalsh Road- with rubble on the ground and the dark grey Mercedes completely smashed in at the front.The road remains closed whilst the building is structurally assessed.Road Policing Sergeant Kate Park said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
I would ask anyone who may have witnessed the crash but has not yet spoken to police to come forward."I am particularly keen to speak to.
