Man charged with murder after body found in bath with 'multiple serious injuries'

A man has been charged with murder after the discovery of a body with in a bath with "multiple serious injuries". West Midlands Police said officers were called to a house in Holly Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, at around 9am on Sunday.

The force said a man, believed to be in his 20s, was found in a bath with multiple serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene but has not yet been formally identified.

Police said a man was arrested a few miles away later on Sunday morning on train tracks near Wigmore Lane in West Bromwich. On Monday night, the force's Homicide Unit charged David Swaby, from Holly Road, with murder.
