A brave seven-year old has undergone life-changing stoma surgery after suffering years of debilitating bowel issues. Jax Batty, 7, who was diagnosed with Chronic Acute Constipation, had the surgery in September at the Sheffield Children's Hospital.
Doctors were left with no choice but to operate after the treatment and medicine they gave him stopped working. He has since been fitted with an ACE stoma, which helps him go to the toilet by pumping medication into his bowels.
