Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after a boy was left fighting for his life after a stabbing near Manchester city centre.
The 'isolated' attack happened on Quenby Street just before 5.30pm on November 11. Police said the 16-year-old victim was stabbed twice in the legs and taken to hospital from the scene.

No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing. Detectives are now urging anyone who witnessed the attack to come forward.
