Police said the teenager was in a 'stable condition' having suffered two stab wounds to the chest. Officers were called by North West Ambulance Service on Saturday, 6 February at around 8pm, to reports a boy had been stabbed.A number of emergency services attended the incident at the Edge Lane Metrolink stop in Droylsden.
The boy was knifed following an altercation between a group of teenagers, police said. A 14-year-old boy has since been arrested on suspicion of assault and remains in custody to be quizzed by detectives.
