Encountered at 13 years old by talent manager Scooter Braun after he had watched the boy's YouTube cover song videos, Bieber was signed to RBMG Records in 2008. Bieber's debut EP, My World, released in late 2009, made Bieber the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

dailyrecord.co.ukhospitalised after being set upon by six others in a brutal assault in a car park in a Scots town.The 40-year-old was on Main Road in Irvine, Ayrshire at around 9.25pm last night when he was attacked and suffered 'serious facial injuries'.He managed to get home before calling an ambulance which rushed him to Crosshouse hospital near Kilmarnock.He was treated at the hospital and later released.Cops are now appealing for any witnesses to the attack to come forward and have released descriptions adding that a white 'jeep-style' vehicle is believed to have been involved in the incident.One of the suspects is described as wearing a white jumper and another was wearing light jeans with white boxer shorts visible underneath.Detective Constable.
