Gary Neville was asked to name his dream back four during a Twitter Q&A. And interestingly the former Manchester United captain overlooked his ex-Red Devils team-mates by simply answering: "Milan".
Now, this isn't a great deal to go by, but we are assuming Neville is referring to the AC Milan back four that ruled the roost from 1987 to 1995.
The defence was made up of four of the best individual footballers in their own right who together created an almost impenetrable back four: Paolo Maldini, Franco Baresi, Alessandro Costacurta and Mauro Tassotti.
For many, the back four is considered the greatest of all time, with Milan winning the Champions League twice during this period, in 1989 and in 1990.
