dogs who found him playing in an abandoned factory. Li Furun, 11, was savagely attacked by four dogs close to his home in Hanadan, China last week on Thursday, January 20.Police confirmed his body was found lifeless on Sunday, after his family reported him missing three days before.
A manhunt for the owner of the dogs was launched which led to police detaining a man surnamed Fan, reports South China Morning Post.
It has been reported that he is facing a possible charge of manslaughter, which could put him behind bars for 7 years. The owner did not register his dogs which is a requirement of the law.
Police have since confirmed that the animals “have been dealt with according to the law”, which is a euphemism for being euthanised, according to the Chinese publication.
