Boozy students spill out onto streets at 10pm as curfew cuts short wild night out

Students from the University of Portsmouth enjoyed a wild time on the town after the coronavirus restrictions cut short their night.Youngsters were pictured spilling out onto the street after the 10pm pub and bar curfew kicking in, with many seen heading straight to Tesco or Sainsbury's to take booze home.

Freshers had earlier enjoyed a Tuesday night out on the town in bars and pubs in the city's Guildhall Walk.But it comes as coronavirus outbreaks wreak havoc across the UK.It comes after the university's vice-chancellor Professor Graham Galbraith revealed Portsmouth has spent "millions" to avoid a coronavirus outbreak.
