Marvel movie, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, has temporarily stopped production after lead actress Letitia Wright gets injured while on-set.
When filming on location in Boston, Wright was injured while shooting a sequence involving a stunt rig, The Hollywood Reporter writes.Marvel Studios announced in August at the time that Wright's injury would not affect the filming schedule.Production has been shooting around her character Shuri, the sister of Black Panther T'Challa.Wrights character Shuri has become a fan favourite breakout in the 2018 movie which grossed $1.3 billion and won three Oscars.
After Chadwick Boseman died in August 2020 from cancer, Wright's character has become the lead of the sequel. After being injured, Wright jetted.
