Britain's Got Talent golden buzzer act Nabil Abdulrashid has revealed how he “regrets” ending up in prison. The 34-year-old comic, who did more than a year for a drug crime, said he now wants to help others.
Millions saw TV judge Alesha Dixon crown him her “champ” on Saturday and send him straight through to the semi-finals. She gushed: “You’re edgy and charismatic and a breath of fresh air.” Nabil admits he landed in trouble when he was younger after hooking up with “the wrong crowd”.
The Muslim comic was convicted of importing a controlled substance in 2006, and released from jail after 15 months for good behaviour.
