The Greatest Dancer has reportedly been axed by the BBC after the show's ratings failed to improve with the second season.The BBC One series was founded by Simon Cowell, who attempted to pull in more viewers by adding big names to it, including Cheryl,Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse, Glee's Matthew Morrison and most recently, Todrick Hall.
However, it is believed these attempts were made in vain as bosses are thought to have decided not to continue with the production of the competition show, which is hosted by Alesha Dixon and Jordan Banjo.
A TV source told The Sun that plans to take it off air have been in the works for some time as they said: "The writing was on the wall a while back. "Now the BBC and everyone involved has decided.
