Beverley Knight has revealed that she would love to find out what presenter Matthew Kelly thought of the new ITV show Starstruck.Speaking exclusively to Daily Star and other press Beverley, 48, who will appear as a celebrity judge on the show, gave details of what viewers should expect and whether it shared similarities with Stars In Their Eyes.Sitting alongside her fellow celeb judge Jason Manford, Beverley was asked whether she heard from TV legend Matthew, but she confirmed that she personally hasn't.She exclaimed: "I'd be interested to see what Matthew thinks of it though!"Jason chimed: "I'd think he would love it!

He's an old-school entertainer you know.""Yeah I think he would love it," she agreed.Speaking on whether audiences would compare the show to Stars In Their Eyes, the Made It Back singer said: "It is, in a way."But it's 21st century, it's Stars In Their Eyes 2.0, the sequel."Beverley also spoke about the performances that left her emotional and said a lot of them have an impact on her.She confessed: "This isn't the type of show where the back story is supposed to influence the performance, it's not that kind of a show."But you can't help but hear a little bit about the contestants. "You know single mum, looking after their daughter but they've got this fantastic talent and they get to dress up and be on stage and once they've finished performing just seeing the joy in their eyes."She added: "To hear 'oh my God, I feel amazing, I feel wonderful' that gets you and gives you all the feels."And I defy anybody to watch the show and watch some of those big transformations and not think 'wow you are living your best life, good for you, how wonderful is this in front of the whole nation.'"ITV's Starstruck will see.
