Former BBC Radio 2 presenter Steve Wright has died at the age of 69, his family has confirmed. Wright presented his afternoon show on BBC Radio 2 for 23 years before leaving the station in December 2023.
In a statement on Tuesday afternoon, Steve's family said: "It is with deep sorrow and profound regret that we announce the passing of our beloved Steve Wright. "In addition to his son, Tom, and daughter, Lucy, Steve leaves behind his brother, Laurence and his father Richard.
