BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker cuts off Carol Kirkwood after disappointing weather warning

BBC Breakfast 's Dan Walker abruptly told weather reporter Carol Kirkwood to "hold on" after she reported some disappointing news.

Strictly Come Dancing fan favourite Dan, who wore a smart black suit with a purple tie, and Sally Nugent, who wore a high neck white top, hosted the early morning BBC show.

After they had discussed a few topical stories, the pair cut over to Carol Kirkwood for her usual weather bulletin.She addressed the nation and informed viewers about the unusually warm weather for this time of year and gave a summary of the forecast for the week ahead.Carol, who wore her signature blonde bob in a curled style with a spring-like floral patterned shirt, then spoke directly to the presenters.She said: “Sal and Dan, you may not like this as much but Tuesday and Wednesday next week, for some of us will be ten degrees lower than they’re going to be today.”An unhappy Sally gasped in shock as a disappointed Dan told her to “hold on” as he’d “already put his big coat away”.Carol laughed and told him to “get it back out again”.Dan then told her: “You had a t-shirt on yesterday, I thought: ‘That’s it, summer is here!’ Ok, I shall heed your warning.
