BBC Breakfast star Dan Walker was trying to deliver a link on his hit morning show - but it all went wrong when he started giggling with co-star Sally Nugent. In fact, the BBC presenters were laughing so much in front of the cameras that Dan could barely finish his on-air segment, and former Strictly star Dan was forced to apologise to the viewers at home.It all started after a news segment on waste had played on Monday's broadcast (March 21), and Dan was ready to hand viewers over to his colleague for the latest news, travel and weather. It wasn't long before his segment took a rather amusing turn, though.Sitting on the famous TV red sofa, Dan turned to Sally and said of the segment: "It's fascinating that, isn't it?"However, smiling Sally already looked close to bursting out in fits of laughter, perhaps at one of Dan's cheeky quips during the segment that had just finished airing.Trying to stay professional, Dan started saying: "Time now to get the news, travel and the weather wherever you're watching..."He then started chuckling and couldn't stop, eventually apologising to his viewers for the blunder as he said: "Sorry!"Luckily, they were able to move viewers on to the next segment before it got any worse, because the lovable pair were still grinning when the cameras were panning away.Dan and Sally recently enjoyed a star-studded night out with their Breakfast colleagues and Dan's Strictly Come Dancing pals.Sally took to the Strictly dancefloor for the Rob Burrow Strictly Ball in a bid to raise money for the fight against Motor Neurone Disease. It saw Strictly partners Dan and Nadiya Bychkova reunite on the judging panel for the ball, and Nadiya even danced with with her co-star Kai Widdrington.Sally spoke about her.
