BBC Breakfast's Carol Kirkwood has issued a 'huge apology' after a fan called her out for a snub. Carol, 60, has a legion of fans but a tweet this week about weather conditions upset one of her followers.
The star shared an update on pollen levels across the country on Tuesday to give hay fever sufferers the heads up. She wrote: "Pollen levels today across England are mostly very high, high in Northwest England and moderate in Southwest England.
For Scotland and Northern Ireland they are moderate @BBC Breakfast xxx". Unfortunately, some of Carol's fans in Wales was disappointed to see their area had been missed out of the tweet.
They wrote: "Carol, what about [Welsh flag emoji], i know everyone thinks we are part of England, but i thought you would have remembered us" alongside a crying emoji. .css-16e4f55{margin:16px 0;}.css-1czxmma{background-color:rgba(252,239,255,1);margin:16px 0;}.css-1tapza8{padding:20px 15px;}.css-1bk4jdt{padding:20px.
