Sane, 24, has entered the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium and will reportedly be offered the Bundesliga club's coveted No.10 shirt.
And Bild report that the Germany international has been told to lower his wages demands by 30 per cent to complete a switch in the upcoming transfer window.
Even with the reduction in pay demands, it is believed that Sane will still earn more after tax than he currently does with the Premier League champions.
