Liverpool fans have hailed their 'bargin' signing Ibrahima Konate after the Reds centre-back notched his second goal in as many games on Wednesday evening.
Konate was named in the Jurgen Klopp's starting side against Benfica in the Champions League after being dropped over the weekend.
And the Frenchman rose highest from a corner again at Anfield to head the Reds ahead. The centre-half joined Liverpool over the summer from German side RB Leipzig for £36million, after Klopp triggered his release clause.
Konate has struggled to break into the starting side, but he has impressed when handed the opportunity to shine.One fan gleamed: "£36million for Konate was a bargain.""Great header, especially because he was surrounded by three defenders," a second added on the finish.
