Barcelona are plotting to invoke a longstanding FIFA transfer rule that could help them snatch Neymar from under Paris St-Germain’s nose this summer.
Neymar departed the Nou Camp in 2017 to seal a world-record £198m switch to PSG, but reports suggest he is now desperate to return to Catalonia after spending close to three years in Paris.
It is believed he pushed for a move last summer, only for the French outfit to reject his transfer request. But Barca are said to be interested in re-signing the Brazilian at the end of the season - and they have a crafty plan to do so.
According to ESPN, the Spanish champions could get their hands on Neymar again if he invokes article 17 of FIFA’s transfer regulations.
