Brazil great Rivaldo believes that Lionel Messi won't play for any club in Europe other than Barcelona, despite repeated speculation linking him with a move to Manchester City.
Messi publicly hit out at sporting director Eric Abidal in February after the Argentine took umbrage with his former teammate's suggestion that some Barca players were partly responsible for the sacking of former manager Ernesto Valverde.
The spat ignited speculation that Messi, who is out of contract at Barcelona next year, could leave the club for free at the end of the season due to a clause in his current contract in Catalonia.
