Barcelona are facing the prospect of shelling out a further £17.5m for Brazilian flop Philippe Coutinho if he returns to the club this summer.
Coutinho has spent the season out on loan at Bayern Munich after a miserable first 18 months at the Nou Camp. But he has also failed to impress in Germany, meaning he has two avenues to explore ahead of next season - return to Barcelona or find a new club.
Coutinho is widely being linked with a return to the Premier League with a number of clubs, including Newcastle should their impeding takeover go ahead.
Chelsea, Tottenham and Arsenal have also been credited with interest in Coutinho, who Barca are believed to have priced at upwards of £60m.
