Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.
John Legend
John Roger Stephens (born December 28, 1978), known professionally as John Legend, is an American singer, songwriter, producer, actor, and philanthropist. Prior to the release of Legend's debut album, Get Lifted, (2004) he had collaborated with already established artists and signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music. Legend has sung on Jay-Z's "Encore", Alicia Keys's "You Don't Know My Name", Dilated Peoples' "This Way", Slum Village's "Selfish", Fort Minor's "High Road", and played piano on Lauryn Hill's "Everything Is Everything". Legend's single "All of Me" from his fourth studio album Love in the Future (2013) was a Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit.

Barack Obama has shared the 2020 edition of his annual summer playlist. The collection, released in time for this week’s Democratic National Convention, includes a healthy mix of recently-released songs and older tracks, including Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé’s “Savage Remix,” Wizkid and H.E.R.’s “Smile,” “Gemini” by Princess Nokia, and “Work” by Rihanna and Drake.

The playlist also features a number of artists performing at the DNC, including Leon Bridges, Common, John Legend, The Chicks, Billie Eilish, Maggie Rogers, Billy Porter, and Jennifer Hudson.
