Everyone was absolutely delighted that the baby challenge had finally returned to Love Island. After weeks of misery, viewers believed it was the breath of fresh air we needed.
However, not even Toby fumbling with the baby, Faye and Chloe hiding from their kids and Liam singing Tom Jones (again) could save this season.
In fact, it further highlighted everything that is wrong with this year’s Love Island. Now in the final week, Love Island does not feel like the happy-go-lucky energy from previous years, with massive bust-ups, no clear winner and some shady decisions by producers to inject some drama.
