Drivers are being warned that essential maintenance on the A77 at Sandyford Toll and Whitletts roundabout will take place from next Saturday.
Amey – on behalf of Transport Scotland as part of the network management contract for the south-west trunk road unit – will resurface approximately 1.6 miles of the southbound carriageway on the key South Ayrshire stretch.The £500,000 scheme will also include a minor programme of works on the A77 northbound carriageway and on Whitletts roundabout itself with some overnight closures.Amey say the works will benefit vehicles using this route each day and reduce the need for more extensive maintenance in the future.Work will be carried out between Saturday, November 27 and Wednesday, December 8 as
