dailyrecord.co.ukAn Ayrshire chip shop has been left damaged after a fire broke out at the takeaway last night.Welbeck Fish and Chips was evacuated yesterday evening after a blaze erupted at the Kilmarnock venue a few hours after opening.It's understood that nobody was injured in the fire but staff and management have been left shaken by the incident.It's believed that the takeaway will remain closed for the moment as owners work to reopen as soon as possible.The fish and chip bar was closed last night following the inferno.Two fire crews raced to the Welbeck Street eaterie just after 4pm on Sunday and firefighters left the scene after making the area safe.
