Ayr’s pioneering DJs are joining forces to bring a bustling nightlife back to the town centre. Dynamic duo Kerry Callan, owner of No 8 Bar & Grill on Fullarton Street, and DJ Tommy Adams hope their themed music nights and quizzes can give punters a taste of that long anticipated night out now the town has reopened.Kerry, 40, worked at Boswells for 18 years before realising her dream of owning her own place by taking over the former Camerons Bar venue, previously McCabes, just six weeks before the national lockdown last year.She said: “We’re trying to get nightlife back.“It’s been off the map now for a while.“And then with people not going out due to Covid-19 we’ve not exactly had the best time to bring it back.The Ayrshire Live app is.
