Audi set on fire in Scots street after being stolen from home in Rutherglen

Cops were called after a white Audi S3 was set ablaze on Mill Road, Cambuslang, between 6.30pm and 7pm on Monday, February 15.The vehicle had been stolen from a property in Limeside Avenune, Rutherglen earlier that day.

Thieves drove the car around three miles away to a residential street before setting it alight. Police are now probing CCTV and urging witnesses to come forward.Detective Constable John Law of Cambuslang Police Office said: “Our enquiries are continuing into this theft and fire and we are viewing CCTV footage to gather more information.“I would urge any.
