Kym Marsh says she's suffered a few infections since undergoing a 'nerve-racking' hernia operation. The former Coronation Street star, 44, was forced to stay overnight at hospital due to complications with the procedure.

Kym has now opened up about how she's been feeling since the surgery, admitting the infections she's contracted have set her back. "Since my recent hernia operation, I'm back at work on Morning Live.

But it's been a slow recovery," Kym wrote in her OK! mag column. "The operation itself was a success, but I've suffered a few infections since and it's set me back.

I'm hoping to speak to a physio who specialises in post-hernia operations as I really want to get back to exercising again." Kym went on to admit that her body
