At least 550 people have died from coronavirus at Greater Manchester hospitals, according to the latest figures. Data released by NHS England on Easter Monday reveals there have been a further 45 deaths at NHS facilities in the region.

Some relate to the last 24 hours, though some are cases from last week which have only now been confirmed. Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, which has the highest number of coronavirus-related deaths in the region, announced 10 more deaths today - bringing its total to 125.
