A grandmother was killed after sparks from an oxygen tank used to treat her for suspected coronavirus set fire to an armchair and exploded, an inquest heard.
Lynn Hadley, 68, tragically died after the blaze ripped through her home in Walsall, West Midlands, late afternoon on Easter Monday.
Paramedics had been called to the property by her concerned family members after she started to show symptoms of Covid-19. But as crews started oxygen treatment, sparks flew from the device and ignited the armchair where Mrs Hadley was sitting.
