More than 1,400 people have now died in Greater Manchester's hospitals after contracting coronavirus. A further 33 COVID-19 deaths have been recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the region's hospital death toll to 1,415.

The figure only reflects lives lost in hospitals and not in other settings, such as care homes. The coronavirus outbreak has left many people across Greater Manchester struggling for access to food, basics and other support.
