Bristol Live, Asda is launching a vegan aisle across 359 of its stores in the UK after revealing plans for more than a hundred new vegan products in its range of non-refrigerated products.
Two bays in each of the stores will be dedicated to vegan products - with one for savoury, including proteins and cooking sauces, and one for sweet food and snacks.
Asda's buying manager, Sarah Thornewill, told The Grocer : "We understand that customers want a quick and simple shopping experience, and this shouldn't be restricted by dietary requirements.
