Good news for holidaymakers - Crete has been added back on to the UK's travel corridors list, meaning holidays to the hotspot are back on the cards!
It means any Brits returning after 4am on Sunday 18th October will not need to quarantine. Secretary of State for Transport Grant Shapps announced the news on his Twitter account.
He wrote: "We are ADDING CRETE to the #TravelCorridor list this week. From 4am Sunday 18 Oct, if you arrive from Crete, you will NO LONGER need to self-isolate.
ALSO THIS WEEK, the whole of the UK is now aligned with our advice around all of the Greek islands." The news comes after he announced that Italy, Vatican City state & San Marino are the latest destinations to have been removed from the UK's travel corridors -
