Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

Arsenal transfer target Odsonne Edouard has hinted that he may stay at Celtic for next season after revealing his intent to help the Hoops with their 10th consecutive title.Edouard has been with Glaswegian giants for almost three years now in total, joining permanently from PSG after a year-long loan initially.The France U21 international has become an important player for Neil Lennon's side, scoring 28 goals in all competitions this season and comfortably sitting top of the Scottish Premiership scoring charts.It is now being reported that Arsenal are keen on the 22-year-old to replace club captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.The Gabonese superstar is out of contract at the end of next season, and may be cashed in this summer as to avoid.
