Arsenal summer signing Marquinhos could be allowed to leave the club on loan in January. The Brazilian youngster joined the club from Sao Paulo in the summer transfer window in a deal understood to be worth around £3million.
While the initial plan was to send him out on loan immediately, the 19-year-old has already made quite the impression on Mikel Arteta.
On his first start for the Gunners, Marquinhos opened the scoring with a well taken strike in Arsenal’s 2-1 away victory against FZ Zurich in the Europa League.
